It has been awhile. Does everyone have at least one of those posts when she realizes that the last post was made in another year? Hope so. Of course, I am far too busy to be making this post soooo quick update for my adoring follower(s?)
1. I don't really know what I'm doing this summer yet, though my fall back is working part time for the Washtenaw Country Public Defender's office.
2. God has been pretty merciful this year, showing me more and more how much I need to rely on Him and not myself.
3. #2 is applicable right now because I need diligence and instead I'm blogging. Uh, oops.
4. Law school is hard, but learning is fun (for the most part) and getting to know some of my classmates has been rewarding.
5. Living in Detroit is pretty enjoyable, and awesome roommates have been a huge part of that.
6. Been in a relationship for almost 11 months (!) now. That's a long time. We still like each other. :-D
7. Climbing is my new hobby and I get to do it over spring break, which is in one week!
8. Snowboarding is my second new hobby...does it count as a hobby if I only do it a couple of times a year?
9. Climbing friends have led to sweet conversations and to joining a prayer group with some of them. Yay prayer!
10. Did I mention that spring break is in one week? I'm 2 months away from being done with my first year of law school! Holy cow that was fast. O.O
11. My car could probably drive to Ann Arbor on autopilot. In fact when I went home last week I almost accidentally got onto 94 to head to A2 instead of 75 to go home. Oops.
Back to writing my appellate brief. More substantial update...sometime this semester... :)

First Post!
Hello blog world!
After creating this blog over the summer so that I could have someplace to post about life...I promptly forgot about it and reverted to my xanga. Granted, I have a lot of posts there, but you'll never see them. At least not if you want to see what I've been up to the past...8 months or so.
Anyway, now that I'm done with classes and have only exams (*only* being a relative term. Condensing a whole semester's worth of notes from 4 classes into study-able material will not be a simple task) to go, I've decided to put this up. I'll get right back to outlining soon, promise.
Explanation of "heartofflesh": Ezekiel 36:26- And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Why? A few months ago (ok more like 8), it was revealed to me that I'm not that tender hearted. For anyone who knows me, not much of a surprise. That's not necessarily how I want to be, and this verse promises that God can take my heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh- one that is soft and tender, one that seeks God and listens to His voice. I've been looking for that ever since, and slowly but surely, God's been faithful in chipping away chunks of stone, and placing flesh in its place.
Brief "About me" for anyone who doesn't know me (though, if you're reading this, you probably do know me...bear with me).
name:Siew
Age: 23
Occupation: Student (the only occupation where you spend rather than make money?)
Height: Short
Relationship Status: Taken (no, it's not on facebook)
Major: Law- 1st semester's classes = done :)
Interests: climbing, spending time with housemates, driving to Ann Arbor, spending time with boyfriend and other friends, climbing trees, attempting to be eternally optimistic and thankful...even in class.
"Religious views"- Christian.
Did I miss anything?
I plan on posting here at least once a...um...year. Yeah. Don't want to set my goals too high now.
Back to burying myself in a book.
